about

Orpheus, a prophet whose fingers and lyre were blessed by the gods, played music that spread love to all beings. Suffering the loss of his beloved Eurydice at the hands of a serpent, he played such mournful music that even the gods of the underworld wept. He was left with only the memory of his beloved and grief in his heart.
In Syria, there is a beloved and many an Orpheus, a serpent and many a prophet. But all these stories will be written on Syria’s new chapter as songs for love and peace.
Syrian Orpheus explores a new journey for Orpheus; searching for his beloved, carrying his melodies as gifts to its cities, singing to them as they sing to him, like every enamoured person in an epic that goes from the beginning of time to eternity.
